Our Apostolate
The Apostolate of the institute is twofold: internal and external.
External Apostolate
The External Apostolate is the practical charity directed to others, especially the suffering poor and the destitute of society. Through this apostolate, the sisters express Christ's love by responding to concrete human needs with compassion and dedication.
In fidelity to our charism and in response to the needs of the church and society, the External Apostolate of the Holy Family Sisters of the NEEDY is carried out through various ministries.
Internal Apostolate
The Internal apostolate consists of helping the members of the congregation achieve the holiness of life. This is realised through a life of prayer, community living, Faithful observance of the evangelical counsels, ongoing formation, and spiritual growth.
Through the Internal Apostolate, the Sisters deepen their relationship with God and are strengthened to carry out their mission in the church and in the world.
Our External Apostolate
In fidelity to our charism and in response to the needs of the church and society, the External Apostolate of the Holy Family Sisters of the NEEDY is carried out through various ministries, including:
Care for Orphans and children who are physically and mentally challenged, and the Aged
Educational Apostolate
Pastoral and missionary outreach
Liturgical Support Apostolate
Healthcare and hospitals
Care and support for the unmarried mothers
Pure water production for community health and well-being
Skill acquisition and empowerment programs
Charity & Social Outreach
These ministries are expressions of practical charity and service, directed especially to society's poor. It involves caring for Orphans, children with physical and mental disabilities, and the Aged—uplifting lives, igniting hope in every heart.
Healthcare
Offering compassionate medical care and support to the sick and vulnerable. Providing compassionate care to those in need
Education
Providing nurturing learning spaces for children and young adults in need. Supporting growth with caring, teaching, and guidance. Empowering children through compassionate teaching.
Liturgical Support Apostolate
In service to the sacred liturgy of the Church, the Sisters are involved in the preparation of the Altar bread for the Holy Mass, and sewing of Vestments, carried out with reverence, prayer, and respect for the sacredness of the Eucharist.
Pastoral and missionary outreach
We are involved in various evangelical and catechetical activities to teach people about God and his ways.
Skill acquisition & empowerment programs
Our skill acquisition and empowerment programs focus on uplifting the poor and marginalized members of society. By providing training and resources, we aim to enhance their capabilities and foster a sense of self-sufficiency.
